LIT CAMP (ages 13-15)
Our two week LIT camp will give young teens the opportunity to learn and build skills that they will carry for life. Communication, leadership, and group management will be developed while participating in a week of camp that includes all typical camp activities. Exclusive to this camp, LIT’s will attend a day of Tree Top Trekking, to work on communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
Week One – LIT campers will participate in a week of camp that will help develop their leadership, teamwork, and sense of responsibility. This week combines camp activities with introductory counsellor training with the intention of preparing LITs for work opportunities. Training is led by our Program Manager.
Choose from 2 weeks of camp: July 6th or 13th
Week Two – LIT campers will choose to volunteer for one or two weeks with our camp staff to practise their new skills. This provides hours and experience LIT’s can put towards high school volunteer hours and their resume.
Choose any camp week after their Week One (e.g., if you select July 6 as week one, week two can be any of the following 7 camp weeks).

Please note that while we do look to past LITs when considering hiring, completing the LIT camp is not a guarantee of future paid counsellor position.
